ABOUT SANDY FROMAN:

Sandra Froman is a past president of the National Rifle Association of America.  She was elected vice president in 1998 under Charlton Heston and in 2005 became the second woman and first Jewish president since the NRA was founded in 1871. At the conclusion of her presidency, the NRA Board of Directors unanimously elected her for life to the NRA EXecutive Council. An international speaker on the right to keep and bear arms, Froman promotes the NRA as a civil rights organization, dedicated to the protection and advancement of the Bill of Rights. Her many radio and television appearances include Good Morning America, MSNBC, and FOX and Friends. She was featured on the front page of The New York Times in a positive story about firearms ownership and was chosen by ABC World News Tonight as the "Person of the Week" upon her election as NRA president. Last year, Ms. Froman testified before the Judiciary Committee of the United States Senate in opposition to the confirmation of Judge Sonia Sotomayor as an associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court based on her Second Amendment record.
